We officially have a walker! This past Saturday night (2/9/13) Lilly Rose surprised us as we were sitting in the living room playing and she started taking 6-8 steps at a time. As of today she's pretty much mastered her cute little wobble walk and is gaining confidence. They even moved her up to the next stage in her Sunday School class this past Sunday. :( This all has gone by extremely fast.
We are so proud of our sweet girl and she is so proud of her accomplishment. You can see it on her face...
Good job Lilly Rose on becoming a walker!!!!
A few other things to note from the past few days:
-- Lilly now plays with her stacking ring toy "properly", she can stack the rings! Way to go LR!
--Tooth #7 broke through over the weekend. Updated stats: 4 top teeth and 3 bottom teeth
--Naps this past week are scarce! Today we are moving Lilly's nap time to after lunch in hopes that she'll take one. Lilly has not taken a nap in the past 4 days. She just talks in her crib the entire time. Maybe a later nap will solve this issue. I'm afraid it will mess up our bed time though... we'll see.
Happy Valentine's Eve! xo

Great job, LR!!! This is so cute and exciting! Independence=) Sorry about the nap. I think sometimes when they are learning a new skill that they are almost overstimulated and can't get settled. At 13months we moved SK to 1 nap a day. I began putting her down around 11 am and then gradually pushed it back until eventually she was going down about 1 or 1:30 for her one nap each day. Hopefully, she will take them for you. We have sound machines and lullaby music in both girls' rooms for sleeping. The ocean waves are cranked up pretty high! Good luck! She's darling walking around!
