Lilly and I survived the doctors by ourselves. I must say though that the 2 month visit is awful! My poor baby screamed wailed at the top of her lungs, turning fire engine red during her shots. It was plain traumatic! She screamed and I cried. I didn't think it would get to me. I've seen her get shots thus far in her short 9 weeks but she never reacted like this so it made the day extra exhausting. Aside from the needles and screams everything else went well. :) We have a 8lb 12oz baby who is 22 inches long. Lilly checked out in the 3% in weight and 25% in height. It was reassuring to hear the doctor say everything looked good and continue doing what we are.
Lilly Rose is almost out of her newborn clothes. Sniff, sniff! I have a drawer and closet full of 0/3 mo. outfits that are slowly starting to fit. Some of her newborn pajamas are now too small, she's too long for them. It's so much fun seeing her grow but part of me cannot believe the past 9 weeks have flown by and my tiny baby is growing up. I'm not yet ready to pack up the newborn clothes so I'm slowly putting aside the outfits she just cannot wear anymore.
Here's a few pictures from our day at the doctor and one from yesterday on her 2 month birthday. (we take a picture by the bear for papa each month, he gave Lilly Mr. Bear for Christmas).
At the doctor before the shots.
She's just ready to leave at this point...
By the next day, I had a happy baby again...
