Monthly Update {4 months}

Lilly rose turned 4 months old this week. We spent the day together shopping, lunching with yaya (where a major melt down occurred, I think she was just DONE with our outing) and enjoying time with daddy playing. Here's a little of what we have been up to the past month.
 --- Lilly has started to smile back when you smile at her. It's funny to see her pout and when I smile she turns that frown upside down. We get a lot of smiles when we compliment her. Hmmm ;)

--- She is now following us with her eyes. Lilly likes to watch Oliver roam around and gives him a big drooly smile.
--- Talking! She has some stories to tell lately and I love it! There's nothing sweeter than baby babble (well, baby sugar is sweet too!). Lilly likes to tell me a lot when I'm changing her diaper. I hope she always wants to share her secrets with momma. ;)
--- We have a morning baby! Lilly wakes up with a smile and is most pleasant in the mornings, unlike both her parents. Seeing her big smile changes my mood instantly though; no matter the time (luckily she doesn't wake until around 7:30).

--- She is enjoying 'standing' as much as possible. Lilly loves to lock up her legs and stand up tall. She smiles so big, I think she's very proud of herself...we are too, Lilly Rose! :)

--- Starting to hold her rattle for first time. Lilly especially likes to hold onto her Sophie giraffe. Oliver thinks it's his toy, I know it's pure torture for him to watch her play with that squeaky giraffe!
Hey, Mom! Tell Oliver to back off my toy, please...

--- Blowing bubbles. Constantly! Lilly's face has to be wipes numerous times a day due to her bubble blowing.

--- Lilly still loves her hands. She plays with them, holds her hands, puts them in her mouth, likes a 'manicure' (trimming her nails), looks at them...my girl just likes her hands.

--- Family walks, Lilly loves a good stroll (Oliver boy does, too!). :)

Stats from the past month:
Sz 1 diaper
24 inches, 11.5 lbs (today she weighed 13lbs so looks like she's put on a bit in the past month)
NB (dresses) & 0-3 clothes

Monday we will go see Dr. Baker and get her 4 month check up. I can't wait to find out her stats and hopefully get an okay to give her some rice cereal or sweet potato. Lilly is still nursing and likes to eat! It's been a little hard on me with her feeding every two hours (and supplementing when needed with formula) so I'm SO looking forward to the next step and filling her tummy with yummy things.
