I know this post is a good week or so late but better late than never. Easter weekend Lilly Rose and I packed up our things and headed to Folkston to stay with Papa and Yaya. It was Lilly's first over nighter! On Saturday Mom had the Kriner family over for Easter lunch. She did such a beautiful job with her decor, as usual, and everything was yummy. We missed those who were not there but enjoyed everyone who was able to come. Lilly did well for her first family party, my cousin Sharon was able to rock her to sleep twice!
Easter Sunday Billy was working (unfortunately!) so we kept it low key in Folkston. Lilly Rose slept 8 hours in her crib at Yaya's house (yay!), I'm glad she was able to sleep well since we were not at home. She woke up happy but quickly became fussy and continued to be so fussy throughout the afternoon, we just had to leave earlier than planned. I think it was just too much on her. As soon as we got home and I put her in her swing she went to smiling again and back to herself. We were happy to welcome Billy home and enjoy a dinner together even though we weren't able to enjoy the day as a family.

Not our typical Easter but it was nice anyway. We are just so thankful and blessed to be serving a RISEN savior. We are doing our best to teach Lilly even now all about Jesus and what He has done for us.
